Work travel and staying cute

Hi y’all!  It’s Gena here.

Welcome to my first post!

I travel a bunch for my job and that can wreak havoc on my fashion meter.  Especially when im at conferences and we have to wear the dreaded branded polo shirt.  ðŸ¤¢

So I thought since I’m always on the go it might be a fun post to give you some of my tips for staying fashion forward test still corporate cute.  ðŸ’ðŸ½

First things first, if you followed me on my old blog, you know I love bullet points.  So heerrreeee we goooooo!

  • For ease and luggage space I usually pack dresses.  My favorite of course are those that don’t wrinkle easily and have that great shape like Mindy posted about earlier.  Having a fit and flare dress can help hide some of the water rentention you have going from air travel.
  • I’m a shoe lover…heels especially but they aren’t practical to travel in or for all day conferences.  So I swear by a metallic flat.

Here are a few of my faves:

    • Now when it comes to the polo shirt uniform I don’t ever wear it with khakis or jeans as requested.  I do my own thing…I love a fun skirt or patterned pants instead.  That way you are still letting your personality shine through and still wearing the polo shirt.  Some fun bottoms to try are:

      • My list tip?  Accessorize accessorize accessorize!!!  Go crazy!  My next post will give you some of my fave accessories.

Do any of you have some great travel fashion tips?
