How many of you are participating in Halloween this year?  Any parties?

Any of you dressing up?  I used to love dressing up as a kid.  Except I grew up in Western Canada and I could never fully do a costume for real…I always had to wear a snowsuit under my costume.  WOMP WOMP WOMP.  How can you be a princess with a full goose down coat on?  I digress.

As I grew up I struggled on finding a costume as a plus sized girl.  I wanted to be a sexy nurse, but alas there wasn’t an option at the lone option…party city at the time.  All of the plus size options I remember were frumpy and not cute at all.

So this year I knew I wanted to dress up and I was happy to find more options!  Progress!

Check out these tips from the curvy fashionista.  Or consider building your own costume using the clothes in your closet.  This year I was Beyonce, because I had a perfect almost replica to the dress she wore in Lemonade during the Hold Up Video from Eloquii.  I snagged it on sale and saved it for just this occasion.   At least in my opinion, it is perfect….lol.
